Every day Emily sees the power of design thinking as a way to creatively problem-solve and build opportunities for new products and services. As a Producer at IDEO, she focuses on human-centered
design research, creative strategy and project production. Her experience spans education, technology, financial services, environment design and civic innovation.
A San Francisco denizen and explorer of cultures, Emily is fascinated by urban environments and passionate about neighborhood revitalization. Last year at a civic hackathon, Emily
co-founded SquareFoot, an online platform that connects entrepreneurial renters to short-term leases in idle space. She and her team have spent the past year popping up food, art and retail along the Market Street corridor in an effort to create commercially viable and socially vibrant experiences.
